My friend Chew Hoe and I will conduct a workshop on building a professional blog in 3 hours. This workshop is mainly for toastmasters, but it opens to the general public too.

• How To Use the Program to Add Functionalities To Your Blog, such as video, tags, links etc in the shortest possible time…

This workshop will focus on the practical aspect of blogging because we believe most people are aware of what blogging is. The course will cover:

1. Setup a Wordpress Blog
2. Introduce useful wordpress plugins and themes
3. How to insert multi media, video and photo in Wordpress
4. How to modify and customerize Wordpress theme

Half of the workshop will be hands-on session. Since it is only 3 hours, we cannot cover all the materials. But we will put the important references and resources onto the printout (or DVD).
